Washington Defender Association

The nonprofit, Washington Defender Association, needed an update to their front-end design and back-end system of their popular membership site. As a nonprofit that serves attorneys in the public sector, and with many changing issues on the legal and cultural horizon, they also identified an emerging opportunity to be a leading resource for individuals and organizations in their niche on these legal realities.

WDA has over 1,400 paying members that rely on their website to provide them with resources for their legal cases so the system they need to manage their members’ user accounts and site benefits must be fairly extensive and able to handle complicated use cases. They also have a document library with thousands of downloadable documents and resources.

Eternia delivered a beautiful, modern design that helped raise their brand profile substantially. The design was also well thought out from a user experience perspective, ensuring that the visual organization of the information-intensive site was laid out cleanly and the user interface elements were intuitive and functional – all while remaining visually stunning.

Eternia also delivered a custom user system and library built on top of WordPress. As the CMS behind 25% of the world’s websites, WordPress provides the core page and post system that serves as a great foundation for the custom document library and user system Eternia built on it.

Thanks to our creative partners at SideXSide Creative for the initial branding work on this project.
